Under this agreement, STX Engine will sequentially supply diesel engines for the Redback IFV to Australia until 2027 and provide a technology transfer package, including the establishment of a local production base in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-open-sans-font-family wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Penske Australia is a company that provides mobility solutions for defense, transportation, energy, construction, and mining industries in Australia and New Zealand. It has a strong presence in the military vehicle and engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-open-sans-font-family wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Through this contract, STX Engine expects to further establish its technological prowess and market expansion capabilities in the global defense sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-open-sans-font-family wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">STX Engine has played a key role in the export of defense equipment, including the K9 self-propelled howitzer and the Redback IFV, by leveraging its proven engine performance and quality. The company has previously exported K9 self-propelled howitzer engines to India, Poland, Norway, and T\u00fcrkiye, solidifying its position as a major defense engine supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-open-sans-font-family wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Industry analysts attribute this success to STX Engine\u2019s ability to localize diesel engines that meet stringent export market requirements and technical specifications, while also establishing a solid foundation for customized local technical support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-open-sans-font-family wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">As local production and technology transfer have become key competitive advantages in the defense market, STX Engine views this Australian project as a crucial stepping stone toward strengthening its position as a global technology partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-open-sans-font-family wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Lee Sang-soo, CEO of STX Engine, stated, \u201cThis collaboration is a significant achievement that demonstrates the global trust in STX Engine\u2019s technological capabilities.
