Aircraft parts manufacturer ASTK said on the 11th that it posted 254.3 billion won in revenue last year, the highest performance since its founding. Operating profit turned positive to 7.2 billion won in the same period, and net loss also decreased by more than 30% from a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASTK said improved results were driven by increased order volumes, higher selling prices, and cost reductions.<\/p>\n\n\n

ASTK’s revenue grew nearly fivefold in five years, from 58 billion won in 2020 at the peak of the COVID pandemic. Profitability also held to a quarterly surplus from late 2024, and on an annual basis turned to the black in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The improvement is analyzed as the result of structural reforms reflected in the numbers after UAMCO acquired ASTK in 2023, including thorough cost analysis of existing contracts and renegotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASTK completed a merger in 2024 with subsidiary ASTG and has continued production-efficiency efforts such as building an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, constructing an advanced logistics warehouse to streamline logistics, and investing in new machinery. The company said these investments and improvements strengthened its manufacturing capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Future growth is also expected. ASTK projects that benefits from Boeing’s aircraft production ramp-up will begin in earnest in 2026. In defense, Brazil’s Embraer C-390 transport aircraft program has proceeded smoothly after initial deliveries, pointing to additional revenue expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, ALMAC, an aluminum extrusion specialist invested in by UAMCO, the de facto parent of ASTK, was recently registered as a partner of a global key customer in the space and aviation sector and is said to be conducting sample tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASTK and Aerocotec, both invested in by UAMCO, are expanding collaboration centered on their respective specialties, such as precision machining and special surface treatment, and synergies among affiliates are anticipated in the space and aviation field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An ASTK official said, “We will seek mid- to long-term growth and improved revenue by participating in the space and aviation business.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
